Welcome to the Buckingham, Winslow & District Website

Our Scout District is centred on the towns of Buckingham and Winslow in the county of Buckinghamshire. Our District extends from the Bucks boundary with Oxfordshire in the west to the city of Milton Keynes in the east, and from the county boundary with Northamptonshire in the north to south of the Buckinghamshire village of Whitchurch.

We have ten Scout Groups in our District who meet weekly. Our Scout Groups are based in Buckingham, Granborough, Great Horwood, Maids Moreton, Marsh Gibbon, Steeple Claydon, Stewkley , Tingewick, Winslow and at Swanbourne House School.

Almost all of these Groups have Beaver, Cub and Scout sections.

We have a District Explorer Scout Unit that meets weekly in Winslow and a District Scout Fellowship that meets monthly, also in Winslow.

Beaver Scouts are from age 6 years to 8 years, Cub Scouts are from 8 years to 10 1/2 years and Scouts are from 101/2 years to 14 years of age. Explorer Scout cover the age range of 14 to 18 years
